ICC - About

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the global governing body which regulates international cricket, encompassing men's, women's and youth participation in ICC competition such as World T20, CWC, ICC Leagues etc. & make rules & regulations regarding playing conditions & officials for Test Match and One-Day International (ODI) & Twenty-20 cricket.

ICC - Members

It has three Membership categories which are Full Members, Associate Members & Affiliate Members. A little description about them is given below:

Full Members
*                Full Members are the governing bodies for cricket of a country recognised by the ICC, or nations associated for cricket purposes, or a geographical area, from which representative teams are qualified to play official Test matches.Currently ICC recognise 10 Nations as Full Members also known as Test Nations. Associate Members
 *                 Associate Members are the governing bodies for cricket of a country recognised by the ICC, or countries associated for cricket purposes, or a geographical area, which does not qualify as a Full Member, but where cricket is firmly established and organised. Currently ICC recognise 39 Nations as Associate Members. For more info & list of members click here.

Affiliate Members
*               Affiliate Members are the governing bodies for cricket of a country recognised by ICC, or countries associated for cricket purposes, or a geographical area (which is not part of one of those already constituted as a Full Member or Associate Member) where the ICC recognises that cricket is played in accordance with the Laws of Cricket.Currently ICC recognise 56 Nations as Affiliate Members.  For more info & list of members click here.
